Smugmug for sharing

Have a question about using password protected galleries to share photos with family, most of whom are out of town. I'd like to upload photos to a password protected gallery and let them download the digital files from the other end. So far so good. I have two questions though:

1. The resulting filename is really long, with a Smugmug-assigned integer pre-pending the file name.

2. How can my family download an entire gallery at one time, rather than saving each individual photo?

They could use FriendSync

They can use the latest release of AlbumFetcher (with the log in as guest option) to log into your account and download an entire gallery.
