How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    WooooooooHoooooo
    Harry,
The giraffe shot is cute, but the B-fly macros are very nice indeed thumb.gifthumb.gif

Did you use any flash, or just ambient lighting? Whatever you did, these came out very good. clap.gifclap.gif

I've got to look into getting a Macro lens too. I just hope it doesn't result in me wanting a $400+ ringflash :uhoh

    Hey Steve,

These are the first macros I shot in a long while. I used ambient lighting for these shots. They were a real pain to get. I went to the exhibit on a weekday hoping to avoid a crowd, so of course two local schools were having an outing. It was too crowded for a tripod so I had to use my monopod which meant I needed a higher shutter speed and I had to up the ISO to 400. I set the aperture to F/22 and managed to get in a few shoots where some little tyke wasn't bumping into me or running in front of the camera.

    Pristine, Harry thumb.gif
I Like the second shot the touch of yellow and the way the butterfly matches the flower it's on.
Love the way you see, Man thumb.gif
Oh, yeah "Deadwood" very cool show, one of the best right now IMO thumb.gifthumb.gif

You are so off I can not tell you. Linda does not awake until 9-9:30. I make my own brekfast at 6 AM and I'm at the wetlands by 7. I'm back home around 10 and then I have my second breakfast with Linda

    Hey Ben,

Thank you very much. I was happy with the butterfly shots considering how long its been since I used my macro lens.

Deadwood is the only TV show I watch regularly.
