Jody,

Great shots - I love shooting mantises.

They never seem frightened, or distressed. Rather, they cooly appraise the situation like a true apex predator.

They just look right back at you as if to say, don't even think about it!

That last one is probably the best Mantis shot I have ever seen. There is so much personality in the pic, I almost forgot it was an insect.
