Has Smugmug slowed down or is it me?

My site loaded VERY slowly. Once it did load, when I went to enter a gallery it shows no photos and status bar said "done" on bottom of window. I hit the back button, tried to enter the gallery again and it loaded but REALLY slowly!

is it just my system / connection?

Let me know if you're experiencing this, so I know it's my system only!
Thank you.

Canon AE1 - it was my first "real camera"

Could be lots of things, we have some diagnostics to help. Best way is to work with our Support Heroes.

    1. First, a speedtest:
    http://smugmug.speedtest.net

    2. Then, a traceroute

    3. Then, a reverse traceroute, and then please email that to our Support Heroes.

    Go here:
    http://www.smugmug.com/homepage/traceroute.mg
You will see the results on your screen and also receive an email with the results that you can send to us.

    ok now....
It seems to be running fine now..... that was really strangely slow.
Checked the speed test before you posted and it showed results on par with my normal ping speeds.

Thank you for your quick response as usual! rolleyes1.gif

I'm having problems with that myself. even here on the forums it doesn't show properly. Some screen shots:

hmmm..crap. can't access my screenshots on smugmug.

ok, so it appears to be a Safari issue for me. Firefox loads them.
