A worthy adversary, I have been trying to get close enough to get a decent shot at one of these for months. They are tough.

    Congratulations, the kingfisher is a very skittish bird and hard to get close to.

    I must have taken over a 100 shots of him I would just keep creeping up on him. I was suprised he stayed in one place for more than 2 minutes. THey always seem to have their back to you too.

    The Kingfisher is cool. Small body for such a big head! Very nice pictures.
