No the flags not on fire... this was a house fire I photographed in Hicksville, NY - The flag was blowing in the wind off the back of the truck so I took a nice shot of it with fire in the background. The majority of the house was saved. They lost 1 room and part of the attic, and nobody was injured.

In case you wanna see what I came upon (i was one of the first on scene)

Glad to hear no one got hurt Vycor.
Doesn't take long things to get out of hand.

The owners were very lucky to not lose everything.
and you were fortunate enough to have your camera with you at the time.

    Good reporting Vycor thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

Always have my camera with me. I heard it over the fire scanners and i happened to be a few blocks away at the time. I was leaving a client, and my clients next to fire house and i could hear the air horns going off, so turned my scanner on and im like "hey im right there"
