I was lucky enough to spend a few days in San Diego this past weekend and get out of Minnesota where it was predominately below zero. The upside was photographing some of these beautiful birds. This was taken in La Jolla, CA.

Lucky you! I'll take San Diego any day over minus zero, although I'm sure
there are lost of photographic opportunities in Minnesota this time of year.
Coincidentally, I was also at La Jolla on saturday photographing the Pelicans,
the lighting was just perfect and you did very well capturing this flight shot

It was a beautiful extended weekend there, Russ. I ended up over at La Jolla on Sunday morning and Monday later in the day.
