I was talking to a friend last night about photographing ANWR. I have always wanted to go the the Gates of the Arctic NP, maybe somehow I can arrange to go this summer? I was thinking they would be valuable to document what is there before it is gone, or has a pipeline running through it.

I would add that I found winter (late Feb.) to be more interesting than spring (May).
