Mind doing me a favor?

Wrote a blog post about how frustrating it is to be written up in the LA Times and BusinessWeek, like we were, but not being able to link to it so people like you can read it.

Mind reading the blog post, and if you agree, digging it?

We're on the verge of making the digg homepage and I'd really like to get some exposure for the problem.

Thanks!!

    Dugg.

Like you said though. "It's their own fault."

Take it FWIW, but it was tough to read the highlighted text from my normal viewing angle. I have to bump up the text size to read easily.

So true! And it makes no sense at all. Your blog post hits the problem straight on.

    Thumb Challenged,

Good article, well written. Of course I have no idea what so ever what digging is. Yes, yes the shovel I understand, but somehow, I don't think it means the same when taking about the Internet.

I don't understand deep linking, shallow linking, around the mountain through the woods to Grandma's house linking ether, but I am sick of signing in, I pretty much just leave any site where signing in is required.

Your anger / incomprehension, with regard to their business practices is based on what you want, and perceive as the right / best way. It's their business, and they apparently disagree. Yes traditional media is dying, but it seems that their answer is to buy the cemetery plot, and play the fiddle.

You always have the choice to say, thanks but no thanks.

Will do it tonight at the hotel room. Tried on the Crackberry and it was smarter than me.

Done dugg. (Seems they want everything except, possibly, your life history to join you up!! It'll be interesting to see how much junk the process generates.)

Agreed - a ridiculous process tied to a clueless web strategy
