Went to Yosemite last September and loved the area. My wife wanted to know if I got a picture of every tree. :roflI was pretty close by the time I was done. It was pretty dry so Bridalveil Falls was just a trickle. I took these and did a BW treatment that I have been favoring lately Thought I'd share these and maybe get some opinions. Nothing unusual about the pictures but I like this particular treatment and wanted to share.

#1 El Capitan in Late Afternoon

#2 Half Dome Near Sunset

#3 Morning at Bridalveil Falls

Thanks for looking...

#1 is as beautiful as it is majestic. I wish there were more clouds to fill the open sky in #2. The blownout sky in #3 is a little distracting. I really do like the b/w conversions.

Thanks Kitvan and Travis. I agree the third has a bright sky but I liked the texture in the rock so I thought I'd try.

I was lucky to get any clouds when I was there as it was so dry. For #1 I had to wait about 10 minutes for that one cloud to get into any kind of position.
