This wasn't La Jolla, but just south at Mission beach... the Giant Roller Coaster at night.

Thanks for looking! :D

Nice shots, Mike, I especially like the last two. I'm a sucker for night shots like that coaster.

I especially like the last two. There is n amusement park in New Orleans that was flooded during hurricane Katrina that has been abandoned since then. I would LOVE to get in there and photograph the place with weeds and decay taking over!!!.....however....I fear arrest and or the criminal element there.

    Very nice photographs....thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shots, and a beautiful place to visit too. My favs are the last two also. Did you get a chance to ride the old "Belmont" wooden coaster? I did once, it was very rough but it's a classic and was worth it!
    Have a great day!

Very nice. I really like the composition of the first, and the third is dreamy, smooth.

The third shot is fantastic (great color and composition), I like the silhouetted people.

Gorgeous! The scenery there looks perfect for the midwinter doldrums. Colorful sunsets, clear beaches, balmy nights. Thanks for sharing thumb.gif

    Mike,

I noticed you have Adobe RGB on one image and no profile on another. I did not look at all of them but wanted to remind you that the colors will look much better if you convert to profile in Photoshop from source to sRGB. I really enjoyed the eveing compositionsthumb.gif

    Thats me!

Mark, That would be wierd as they are all sRGB in camera and I'll double check what I have going on in CS3, thanks for the tip. :D
