CombineZM question

I read through Brian's tutorial on stacking and I'm trying out the CombineZM program. My question is regarding processing time. I tried a 6 image stack and the process never seemed to end. I then retried with just 2 images and it did the same. The images are about 4mb each. It goes along good until it gets to the * Please wait while Picture is redrawn
section. No progress shows in the progress box at the bottom. I waited ove 50 min and no progress. I went through the frames with the arrow keys and there is a third frame titled "Full=New-Out99999*" that appears to be a stacked image. Is it done? How long does it usually take for a stack? Here's the window where it seems to stop. Thanks for any help, Mike

Hi Not sure what is going on but that is the last stage as you can guess and on my PC the Image appears about 5 seconds after the message.
You are right the image that appears in the second box on View images is the stacked image. I'm guessing that if there is a shotage of memory at that point maybe the image can't appear ?

You could always put a message up on this yahoo group- it's run by the author of the CZ series Alan Hadley.

Thanks Brian..I think I am getting the stacked image, the program doesn't seem to be showing that's it's done.
