Here are a few pictures from a recent trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum at Dulles airport. Hope you enjoy.

#1 This Pitts Special hangs over the main entry way.
#2 It must have been a real adventure to fly to far off places in a plane like this one.
#3 I tried to give the Shuttle Enterprise a little glow, like it is reentering the atmosphere. On occasion NASA will use parts from this shuttle.
#4 One of the Concords. It looks fast standing still.

Hi Ted, these are really COOL
I like all four shots, because I just like planes of any size shape or description
The first plane actually looks like a Model.
The second one still looks shiney and new.
The third one looks made of bricks.
The fourth one, though a little on the well worn side,
looks definately made for speed
Thanks for sharing, nice editing too ..... Skippy

On the concorde, the AoA-vane in the bottom right corner is a distraction for me for some reason. I know it is supposed to be there, but have you considered removing it in the photo?
