Here are a few pictures from a recent trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum at Dulles airport. Hope you enjoy.

Ted

#1 This Pitts Special hangs over the main entry way.

#2 It must have been a real adventure to fly to far off places in a plane like this one.

#3 I tried to give the Shuttle Enterprise a little glow, like it is reentering the atmosphere. On occasion NASA will use parts from this shuttle.

#4 One of the Concords. It looks fast standing still.

Hi Ted, these are really COOL clap.gif
I like all four shots, because I just like planes of any size shape or description :D

The first plane actually looks like a Model.
The second one still looks shiney and new.
The third one looks made of bricks.
The fourth one, though a little on the well worn side,
looks definately made for speed thumb.gif

Thanks for sharing, nice editing too ..... Skippy :D

Hehe, that first picture is funny; It seems as if the plane is doing aerobatics, but without the pilot lol3.gif

On the concorde, the AoA-vane in the bottom right corner is a distraction for me for some reason. I know it is supposed to be there, but have you considered removing it in the photo?

Thanks for the comments Skippy and Ivar. Ivar, here's the Concord again, with the part removed.

Yes, even though there is an essential part missing, I like this one better thumb.gif
