I was walking to my car, about to leave for work when I spoted three Sandhill Cranes in my back yard/pasture. The light was perfect and I pulled my 70-200 and 20D out and fired of a few shots and these are the two best ones.

Nice captures with some interesting lighting. I would have knocked down the expsoure a thrid of a stop.

Sandhills are great subjects to shoot.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
