I had a customer approach me to purchase a digital file to use on their website. They are a farm and breed horses so the pictures would be used to show their horses and farm etc.

What type of pricing would be fair to charge for something like this? For web-use images? Would you give them an image good enough for a 4x6 print or just size it appropriate for the size to be placed on the website?

If that was me I would be looking to use this a s a way to get them to hire me to take pics specifically for them.

I would use the opertunity to quote them for a personilsed package.

If they only want web pics I would keep the price very reasonable to encourage word of mouth recommendations, as you are unlikely to make much ever from web sized pics , only from thr recommendations it brings you
