Somnang means LUCKY in Khamer language. This little fellow not so lucky as he was born with a heart defect. He has had his first surgery but will need another operation to complete the repair.

He's a cute little fellow .... glad he was given the opportunity to have the operation, hope the next one goes well for him too.

Bless the little guy, hope he grows up to make a difference in this world.

Does he belong to any world organisation to help with his medical? He is a cutie patootie. The pair of you should of been in the image. Adorable child.

What a cute little guy! Nice portrait & well framed! I think you might try sharpen it up a bit so the eye lashes are crisp, but maybe that's just because you had to make it smaller for the web ...

Hope his second operation will go well, poor little boy!

2 thumbs up! Nice shot! thumb.gifthumb

    Very Nice!

I'd probably toss rule of 3rds out and crop out the shiny side of the background just a bit (my eye gets drawn there) and maybe even at the tie and square the whole photo up. And as said, a little sharpen.

If you really want to get rid of that area of the background, I'd say try desaturating that area instead of cropping.ne_nau.gif
