Hello all, WOW there are some mind boggling images here!
I have had a camera for about a year and really love macro. I bought the sigma 50mm macro lens about 5 months ago and have not really taken it off since!
here are a couple of my snaps, help, advice and even harsh critisism would be most appreciated.

    Those are simply AMAZING Photos.clap.gif

I recently bought a 100mm macro, and it's basically been on my camera ever since.

Is that first shot corn syrup on an apple??

Thanks loads for the kind comments thumb.gif.
The first one does look a little like honey or syrup. Its actually water dripping onto a tomato!

Hi there Vivax, and Welcome to the Dgrin Forum clap.gif
That's a pretty awesome capture that first one,
you've caught it right at the point of impact, it does look thick more like a syrup than water clap.gif

Look at the ripples in that droplet as it begins to explode.
Haven't seen anyone post one like that before.

Too bad your fly wouldn't face you, not a lot you can do about that,
so many bugs and insects will take off if you move.

Brian feeds them, distracting them with food will usually make them hang around a lot longer as they feed.

Love the composition of the last shot nod.gif
We used to call them fairy's when we were kids, and try to catch them as
    they floated in the breeze.

I do hope you enjoy the Forums Vivax, there is just so much to search through, tips, tutorials, and best of all, other folks sharing their work thumb.gif
