SF4 - idea 1 - sunrise

boy am I mad, been waiting all week for a non-cloudy morning, I had these bright ideas for a sunrise but they just didn't come off.

Anyway these are not what I planned, not quite from a moving car - but not far off.

Now I know which one I prefer but I'm not sure how these shot will scale for a web page...

I want to gauge your reaction for these two.

    Of the two, I like the composition of the first one best, but maybe a bit more shadow detail (not too much though).

    #1 for me, but I wish you took 2 shots and combined them one to bring out the sky, and one to bring out a bit more detail below the horizon line (it's too dark =c(

    #1 for sure. The composition is much stronger.

    thank you all for you comments, I tend to agree with you.

    Pyro I agree, but I don't have a tripod and my layer masking in PS is not good enough to mask out the tree. Stacking would definately show dividends here.

    I'll see what I can do though...
