If I were to start my own stock photo download site, what would be considered pricing that is both competitive in the marketplace and, considered a reasonably profitable selling price for the following licensing use terms.
I will leave blank space in between each one for you to "fill in" with your suggestions or with what you have used in your experience.
Thank you in advance for your help and advice on this. I'm finding myself in bind when I think about what the micro stock sites charge and what the longer established sites such as Almy charges for their images. There's a HUGE gap there!
1. for royalty free ONE time use license? Meaning they pay for each time they download the image for use again.
2. for royalty free perpetual licence? Meaning they download once and can use it without time limit... albeit on a non exclusive basis

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Thank you your input. Not a very exciting subject I'm sure and so subjective nobody else wants to weigh in :-)
Still, I'm trying to learn all I can
