#34 - Just asking for thoughts

I'm not really ready to run with this one yet, but I wanted to throw out a few and ask for thoughts. If you think they need chopping have fun, I don't have PS loaded on anything right now, these are all as shot. This is also day number two with this camera.

My favorites are #2 and #4 (for the purposes of this challenge). All of your shots have an abstract feel to them and you've isolated a "minimal' subject.

Pardon my intrusion but I played around just a bit with your #4 image and wondered what it would look like with a little more "punch". I played with the levels and then used PS curves to kick things up a bit. Just playing with your good creative start. See what you think??

No need to pardon for playing with it, that is exactly what I was hoping people would do. I think that is a little too much "punch", but I like the thought.

Great start here. I like #2 and #4 for their simplicity. I think I would find them more pleasing to the eye with a slightly different composition. The rule of thirds comes to mind, in that I would move them over to the 1/3 line instead of dead center. Or, another option would be a slight turn to a more diagonal orientation. I envision that big spike with a strong shadow and some more light. A bold object, with a bold presentation.

I would use photoshop to get more POP to any and all of them. Curves would give them all a boost into a different realm.

Get your photoshop loaded and go to it. Good luck.
