That is really cool! What is your light source? Was it colored light? Did you do any PP? If so, what did you do?
Thanks, well I was with a friend in a cafe and they asked for a slice of lemon for their tea. The waitress brought half a lemon over, and after they'd squeezed it into the tea I took a photo, just propped-up on the edge of the tray. I used a little pocket Canon point-and-shoot in macro mode. I don't remember the lighting in the cafe!
For post processing I used Paint Shop Pro, went into the histogram adjustment and kept hitting the randomize button until I got an interesting colour. Then increased contrast and removed some noise. So the result was more luck than technique!

I never would've guessed this as being a citris fruit, let alone a lemon. I've heard of blood oranges, but not blood lemons...
