Got the book from Bridge city today. Will look through it and send it to Mel. Mel does not always check in around here so who wants it after him?

It might be kinda cool for each person who receives the book to put a little message inside on the back of the front cover to show who had it and where it's been (location wise), and maybe share a word or two to inspire those who will receive it after them.

Put me down as interested when Mel is finished~

    Cheers!

I need to withdrawal myself from the list for now. The DW and I are gearing up for a LD move. I was hoping this could have happened sooner... but I'd hate to be the one to loose the book. I'll chime up again, in a few months, once we've settled down.

    Hi,

I was ahead of Dani, but I'll give up my spot for now. Our four year old grandson is staying with us, so I don't have much time for reading right now, Laughing.gif! Plus, I wouldn't want to have a valuable book like that subjected to a four year old's curiosity (or hands!). So, thanks...but I'll have to pass on it for now. Enjoy the book, Dani...or whoever gets it!

I'll add another book to the list.

It's called "Inner Game of Outdoor Photography" by Galen Rowell and is a
sort of philosophical approach to photography.

You might remember some of Galen's photos of Yosemite or perhaps of the
Himalaya. He was a frequent contributor to National Geographic. A long time
Bay Area resident (grew up in Berkeley). He and his wife Barbara, founded
    Mountain Light. www.mountainlight.com.

Barbara and Galen were killed in a plane crash in August of 2002 just outside of
    Bishop.

First to PM wins. Be sure to include your postal address. I will probably not get
back to the forum until later this evening.
