I think you're right on that. I think a bit of a boost in contrast (via a black black) would help.

I have seen many arch pictures in my day and this one is quite well composed and processed. Think I have been here as well, Joshua Tree NP?
Just goes to show you should always question the advice you are getting from the amatures like myself. The master has spoken its good the way it is.
