Also exciting news is that I might end up getting a photo from the Loyola game in the student newspaper at VU ("The Torch") even though my primary role is staff (I do happen to be taking one grad class this semester though)... I always talk to their regular student photog when we're on the sidelines, but he wasn't able to shoot this past week... so he said I should drop my photos off to the paper office this week and they'd likely use one :)

I was pretty pleased by the shots I got this week in comparison to previous weeks. Also had a nice boost of confidence on Thursday before I started shooting the UIC game when one of the avid fans who stands in the student section turned to me and said "Hey, you're photos are really good" it's nice knowing I have fans, even if I'm not sure how they ended up getting the link to my photos!
