Hi, first timer here. This is a nightshot of the Avllion Port Dickson beach resort in Malaysia. Reminds me of the game riven but I am not sure if I managed to capture the ambience. C&C welcome.

I was never able to get very far in Riven, but by the time I played it computers were so advanced the scene was a tiny little box in a huge monoitor
I did love Myst though, when it came out.
This shot does remind me of those beautiful landscapes. The light's on, but no one's around. Thanks for sharing and I hope to see more!

Can you post the exif on that? Was it handheld? It seems very sharp, and the colors are very nice. I would like to see the conditions under which it was taken.
Sorry for being a noob but I have yet to learn how to copy exif. Anyway you can get the exif from my smugmug gallery

Applied crop and a touch of USM.
350d, handheld, 18mm, manual exposure, f5, 0.2s (IS + held breath), iso800 0.00ev, no flash, evaluative meter.
The sky was minutes away from getting completely black. Hope this helps.
Hi schmoo, thanks for the warm welcome. Riven is the only game from the myst series which I managed to play. That was some years ago. I am always looking for opportunities to capture moody and dark scenes. Still learning, as my keepers rate is fairly low.
Here is another attempt that worked out for me.
Nicely done!

The times just after sunset and just before sunrise are my favorite times to shoot, the sky has that beautiful blue color.
