Here goes : 2 for c&c
My lovely girlfriend: Both photos done with a D300 and 50mm f/1.8 daylight
50mm f/4.0, 1/4000s, ISO 320. PP done on eyes, some shadows removed. Flash with gold gel fired from left side (TTL).
This is from the firs time out with the camera (and they said it had a steep learning curve ) no PP whatsoever. Literally this is one of the firs 10 shotsi took with a dslr... well after a year of reading for 4 hours a day
50mm f/1.8 no fill flash.
Thank you all so much for looking and commenting.
regards,
Kris.

I love the light in the first one, but I would tone down the gold just a little to get a more natural skin tone. to me she is too yellow. Her eyes look awesome.
The second one is a beutiful natural looking shot.
I like them both.

Really great shots, thanks for posting.

A little too yellow on the 1st and I'm so so on the horizontal instead of vertical.
Only nit on #2, is that maybe you could clone in some greenery in the white spot between her body and arm, right corner.
my only add-on would be in for the second photograph. It seems like there's
a little bit of movement in this photo. It doesn't seem completely sharp to me. Overall I really enjoyed both photographs!

Great Photos!
The skin tones look more natural in #2.
