How would you go about making money. who would you target. I often see pictures of flowers framed in bathrooms as decoration. I would think that this would be the same kind of sell.

p.s. sorry for posting these pictures in multiple threads. as I progress in my photography, more questions come up and i need the image to get people to understand what kind of image i am asking about.

Thank you for your opinions.

:nah Not really. Maybe the pics are too wide? I've had problems like this before when I linked to pics wider than 800 pixels.

Interestingly, I see the pics in IE but not Firefox 2.0.0.11.

I have seen these and think you did a great job on them. with any selling you need to find the proper market. Flowers, Landscapes, and Animals have a very wide market but also difficult to break into because of the sheer amount of people shooting these shots.

Artistic Chess photos are a little more specific. Some ideas to try-

Local art guild and local shows- get some prints done- put a price on them and see what happens-

Contact the chess company for your set- just send an e-mail saying how much you like the set and "here are some shots I took of the set the other day- thought you may be interested"

Local libraries, chess club, city parks and rec- they all have a budget and may be interested in useing some of the shots.

Big thing is just putting it out there.

I can see the photos just fine. Also, i like them. I think one place to market them would be a stock photo website (i've no experiance with that, but others here do). Another thing would be to make matted prints and sell them at the local art fair/farmers market type place.

Personaly no experiance here with selling photos (yet), but if I were going to sell some, those are the two places i would go to do it.
