Journey to Rohi (lots of pics)

It is not easy this truck was completely stuck in mud on our way to Bahawalpur full gallery and details it is in region known as Rohi people of this region are really sweet



A gate called "Freed Gate" this was gate to the city in old times today people still live in there and their are quite famous things that are sold in the bazzar

Here is what you will find inside gate

Many people cannot afford brand new cloths here is shop selling old cloths of children some are new


You can buy cloth of your choice and order stitching here


these are the garlands groom has to wear on marriage day. lol

Thise minarets are under construction for the last 50 or 60 years :huh








Main hall with dome shape ceiling to keep temperature cool summer season is drastic in this region of Pakistan

Near mosque Rangeela bazar which means colorful is located where women buy their things. this is Lace shop i shot it and moved on later i saw it was completely dark have to use ps

What a trip you had. You did well with the new camera. The picture of the mosque entrance looks like it's your mosque with the watermark on it. The maze of electrical wires is a sight that's hard to find around here. Thanks for sharing and look forward to more.

Awais thanks for taking us there! Like Ann I'm not sure I will get a chance to see these things for myself. It is so colorful there, but at the same time some of the devastation is so bleak.
