Taken last Sunday morning at Muir Woods Nat'l Monument, north of San Francisco. Its one of the only remaining stands of virgin redwood forest in the country, and a very peaceful place to relax, even when other people are around.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Scott your album is very impressive....you have a lot of excellent stuff in there. Thanks for the link.

I think everyone should have a look to see what can be done with a prosumer. If anyone is debating if they should get a DSLR or not ...have a look here & you will see just how much is on the photographer & not the gear thumb.gif

Nice capture. I haven't been there for over 35 years, but your shot brought me right back . For those who don't know - the Coastal Redwoods (at Muir) are the tallest living things on the planet (as opposed to the Giant Sequoia which is the largest in mass) . Muir is a place of incredible serenity.

    regards,

    Gary
