Took this picture while walking around Geneva during my lunch-time. I really like how it turned out.

General Dufour equestrian statue, Geneva

Henri Dufour was the commander in chief of the federal army during the 1847 civil war in Switzerland. He was also co-founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross (1864).

    Thank you. No, I have no idea... but when I walk past it again, I will see if I can see a name anywhere.

    Like your close-up, gosh look at the veins on the horses head.
    The crafts person has really given a lot of detail in his/her work.
