    I'm not sure how I feel about these textures. I can't decide wether they have a coolness and novelty value. Or if it's just took much over the top. Like in the second one--I think it would be a funny picture, but the texture distracts from the kid. I guess you could say I would prefer the more plan ones like the third photone_nau.gif

    I like the 3rd one. The others just don't do it for me. When I use textures I try to make them very subtle. Also, textures only look good on certain pictures IMHO. It takes the right texture/picture combo to make a great image.

    The 3rd one is subtle and ok to me.
    The others are a bit too strong and I think it distracts from the shot.

    I like textures and they seem to be very popular right now. On another forum where I go once in awhile, it is really big with photographers but the use is subtle. The photo still stands out but with a slight textured background. The photos here are nice but get lost in all the texture surrounding them. Maybe if you reduced opacity it would look a little better. Never played with them myself so not sure if you can do that.
