I am looking at one of these 16G CF cards. I have heard from several people that these cards worked well but one suggested that the low price indicated that they are most likely MLC memory.

Now i googled it & found nothing to imply that its different to other cards (well nothing that i could understand was possibly bad about MLC memory anyway). Can anyone shed a bit of light onto the subject for me please ?

Don't know if it's faster, but it is the newer architecture allowing more efficient use of physical area. Multi-Level Cells pack a four state transistor in the place of a dual state (on/off) transistor. But speed differences and reliability? Dunno about that.

ahhh, ok..i was under the impression that because it was cheaper..it was not as good as the 'normal' thus i was looking for comparisons. I think at that price i have to try it.
