How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

As always, great pics Harry. I really enjoy what you post. I just purchased a Canon 40d and have a 70-200mm 2.8 is lens. What strength tc would you suggest for BIF pics?

The 70-200mm is a great lens but really a tad short for wildlife shooting. I live by the Viera Wetlands which allows you to get closer to your subjects than anyplace else that I have ever visited.

With Canon you have the choice of either the 1.4 or the 2.0 TC, go with the 1.4. The 2.0 will really slow down your AF and affect IQ.

Thanks for you advice. I will go with the 1.4 and start to save my pennies for a 400mm.

The snowy egrets are a great subject to shoot. They have a lot of "personality".

Misleading tiitles always seem to get a response. :ivar

Thank you Stephen. I had been passing them by lately and looking for more "exotic" captures but after watching them for a bit I realized that I was passing up some fine photo ops.
