Hello all. We use the Flash Slideshow script in the Bio Box, and it was working fine up until today. Now, it's working in Safari but not in Firefox :huh. I saw a few others in the forum had the same problem. I tried the suggestions made to them about removing the extra spaces in the script to be one line, with no effect. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated... www.twomatos.com Thank you!

    Make your Homepage Slideshow gallery public temporally and see if it works.

    btw, what is this in your CS?

    *****my_button {
    margin-top: 117px;
    }

    Thanks for the quick response, Allen. Tried making the gallery public, no effect. Still working in Safari, though. Have there been any updates/upgrades made on smugmug that may require a script for Firefox browsers now? It had been working perfectly before today.

    (The my_button code was an idea at one point for the website that we decided not to use right now so we turned it off with the asterisks)

    You also have a Javascript error ("hasPath not defined") here:

    < script >
    if (hasPath("galleries"))
    YD.addClass(document.body, "galleries");
    < / script >

    You might want to see if fixing that helps the slideshow.

    In the future, if you want to disable a CSS rule, just put a couple x's in front of the name like xxPhoto. Then, it's still a valid CSS rule (so no errors), but it won't match anything so it's effectively disabled.

    I removed the Javascript code that had the error.. I believe that was leftover from the first slideshow hack (before the flash version was available) and never noticed it. Still no effect, unfortunately.

    The slideshow was working with the same code prior to today... if others are having a similar issue that also started today with Firefox, I wonder if perhaps some code is needed for Firefox to run the slideshow properly? Or could a feature that has been added or enhanced on smugmug have affected the way the slideshow functions?

    **Thanks for the CSS code tip, John. I'll keep it in mind in the future. Still fairly new to CSS & html.

    Your slideshow doesn't work for me in any browser. I tried Safari, IE and Firefox. If I were you, I'd email the help desk and ask there.

    Steve from the help desk got it working by enabling the external links on the homepage slideshow gallery. For some reason, it was working before even with that disabled, but as long as it's working....wings.gifThanks again to all for helping us on this.
