Remove shopping cart

I can't find this answer anywhere so any assistance would be great. I'm trying to figure out how I can remove the "shopping cart - purchase of images" function from my smugmug page. I don't want my images to be for sale, or even appear to be for sale as some models think i'm being dodgy and trying to sell their images on the sly... which I'm not.

Can somebody help me out please?

Thanks heaps
Cyrus

If you set all of your galleries to "printable no" then the shopping cart will go away. It's on the customization screen for the gallery, set printable to no.

If you want to change a bunch of galleries at once, you can use SmugBrowser - available in this thread http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=47484&highlight=smugbrowser.

thanks mate, I actually found that feature just after i posted my query however the little shopping cart symbol still appears at the top right corner of the page, which would indicate to most people that along with the shopping cart function is the ability to purchase items/images. I want the shopping cart symbol gone altogether if i can do that...

Ah, I thought you meant a cart within your galleries, but you're talking about the cart in the SmugMug header, aren't you? If you have a power or pro account you can remove that header. I'm not sure about a standard account though. Which type of account do you have?

    shopping cart bug
I know what you mean. I just came in here to see if it was a bug going on. Mine are incorrect, all of them, and I did nothing to them.

Now, just today, All my shopping carts show up on every album. None have been activated to do that. The photos aren't even large enough to print, and I have never enabled shopping. When I go to customize gallery, it is checked to not allow shopping cart, yet I see them on every album. When I tried changing them again, to not allow, they still show shopping carts. Was' up with that? thnx, added this here so I didn't have another post added similar.

I believe this only appears when you are logged in. Try logging out or visitor view and see if the shopping icons go away on the galleries that purchases are disabled.

If I have printing turned off in a gallery I DO NOT WANT cartbuttons even
logged in. I can see no propose to this, just causes many problems, the main
one, I would have to go to customize gallery, open another browser or log
out from every gallery to confirm printing is off. That really sucks.

I'm just explaining what is the current condition, not justifying it. You should probably direct this comment at someone from Smugmug and see if they can explain why they changed it.

My cart icon is still in the upper right corner. Is there something I need to do, I have removed the "search" button but I would like to keep the "style" button.

    What's your SmugMug site, please?

    I believe the CSS is:

    .shoppingcart {display:none;}

    Remove shopping cart - follow-up
well, I found the answer after posting the question. I had "Hide Owner" set to "yes" After reading what this does, it makes sense as to what was happening, it was just a bear to figure it out.
    Thanks anyway,
    Bob
