What an amazing site/sight!

I'm hoping someone can answer a question for me. I happened upon a sight awhile back that had a collection of photos using some sort of color technique. The colors where in the negative I think. It produced fabulous color contrasts. What is the name of this process? Any links?

Your question is not specific enough to be sure, but one thought that comes to mind is solarization. That gives a "negative" image effect.

With Photoshop in the right hands, almost anything can be rendered colorful and as a negative of course.
