Uggh...

Well this is a real challenge I admit. Have you taken photos on the cape in the winter? I just rented the Nikon 70-200mm VR lens and would like to take pics of moving animals somewhere on the cape. (EXCEPT humans, pigeons, and seagulls) Is that possible?

It will be around 35 tomorrow afternoon and I do plan on going to the beaches. Just to see whats available. I will also try and catch a sunset from one of the lighthouses in the background. Tourist postcard type stuff.

And everything looks brown this time of year in New England.

If you have any ideas where to go on the cape....please let me know.

Thanks!

Not having been and being the last person around :cavig to talk about winter shooting I can't help you. You might try posting in the Location, Location, Location forum.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I live on the other MA Cape, so I don't know how relevant these suggestions will be..

Walk the woods to spot deer, and coyotes. Three seasons we have turkeys prancing through our yard, though they are only spotted occasionally during the winter. I've spotted a few Blue Jays and Cardinals this winter. If you get desperate I'm sure there are probably dogs running the beach in the a.m. like here :D .

    Good luck, and have fun!
