Very strange statue

Here is a statue in Havana, Cuba.
It is of Jose Marti, the Cuban hero from a century ago. He is holding Elian Gonzales and pointing an accusatory finger at the American Interests building - the closest thing the US has to an embassy in Cuba.
Strange sentiment considering Elian went home.
Still a nice statue.

The artist did well to portray feeling with this one.
I don't know much about Cuba at all, but there is no mistaking that this man is pointing an accusing finger at somone or something.

    Nice shot Moni thumb.gif .... Skippy :D

I like your shot Moni...thumb.gif.... Jose was (from what I have read) a pretty edgy guy in life. I think the artist did a really good job in capturing that.
