Question about proof delay

I have proof delay set for 1 day on my galleries. I've read the help page on proof delays and the "gotcha" says "Each order will process and ship after the specified number of days has passed, whether or not you've replaced any images in that order."

Does this mean if a customer orders at 9am and I review the order and hit the "ship it" button at 10am on the same day, it will still be delayed an extra day?

I'm asking because a customer emailed me and would need the print(s) by 2/9/08. I emailed them with a list of the shipping choices from Smugmug, I just want to make sure I have the correct info. Thanks!

    The moment you hit the 'ship it' button, it will go to the lab thumb.gif

    If you don't use the button, and let it go, it will go after the specified number of days.
