Here's four shots from Thursday's Rhode Island Girls, Indoor, High School Divisional Championships. To answer a question raised in a previous post..the motion blurr shots are hand-held panned (The blurr was not added PP) PP for noise removal and light adjustment only.

The settings for the first shot (45M Dash) were 1/100th @ f/2, ISO 160....using a 50mm f/1.4 lens

    Shane,
    Technically # 2 is pretty good but somehow the drama of #1 wins me over with only the face of the lead runner being in focus. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)

    I love shooting like this. I normally shoot at a faster shutter spped for the masses and slow it down so I can shoot a few...just for me!!
