    4 and 5 are veyy nice #5 was it an offensive or defensive foul???

    thanks....I think the first 3 shots were with sigma 200mm 2.8 at 1/500 3200iso
    last 2 were with 50mm nikon 1.8 at 2.2a . 1/500 @ 1600iso
    thinking of trading it out for a 85mm 1.8 I could use the extra length...

    I would keep the 50mm and add the 85. I have the 85 there are times I wish had the 50. When you shoot under the basket, it would help with keeping the ball in the frame more.

    just the high noise filter in the d300 camera.

    I've been shooting with a 50mm and wish I had the 35mm! :D I know, it depends on where on the court you are standing. As it happens, I am shooting 6-8 year olds and so there are no strict rules keeping people away... mwink.gif

    If the ref had seen the picture I don't think he would have called the basket good. Clearly contact was made before the shot was off.
