On the way to the camera shop yesterday I came across this place, Originally an RAF airfield its now a gliding school, also saw a DHL plane land.
They have a collection of dis-used aircraft, I've no idea what they all are, but I had half an hour spare so I did a few shots. All done with Tamron 28-70 2.8. Comments always welcomed :thumb

I also like this one, but not as much. It's because of the intense black on the side, I can't see anything. Pity, 'cause I really like the weathered metal and the canopy.

I love the colour, texture & framing of these shots. You have found a location full of possibilities & have utilised them well. You'll do well to retun several times to this location as you'll discover many new angles on the same theme. You are off to a great start!!!
Talk to you later

It's an interesting place for sure, it was really misty on Saturday morning, but it burnt off about 5 mins before I got here, I suspect it'd have been really eerie.
Speed graphic, the photographic place is about a mile from here, huge catalogue and they hold most of it in stock, Helpful too!! I Picked up some ND2,4,8 filters so I won't have to borrow yours anymore

I love the composition of the #2 shot:
Awesome color and texture in all of the shots.
I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

All of them are cool shots that show a bygone era.

So, waxy, you'd like this one better if his assistant had held an nice white reflector card or a silver reflector screen to shed some light into the lower right corner allowing you to see more detail there also?
