it's an interesting shot and a good focus point.
like art scott i'm not too keen on the hairs. keep in mind that when shooting 'macro' or close, everything will be noticed. i am continually dusting off everything i shoot now because all shots are dusty...

And I'm a bit confused by the orientation of the image. Nice curves though.
Natural selection is responsible for every living thing that exists.
D3s, D500, D5300, and way more glass than the wife knows about.
I don't like the hairs in this shot either, colour is not a natural skin tone,
it looks very orange to me.
Those two things aside, I like the angle and the actual ornament

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
Try this shot again by first shooting a white card (heck, a piece of photo paper will suffice), then set your camera to custom white balance, choosing that photo. ( in your camera manual will describe how to set custom wb). Then take your shots....the colors will be much more true.
