i plan on making it back here to reshoot, for some reason i keep messing one thing or the other up when i go out to a location...

this time my sky is blown....ugh...

anyway, i need a help with composition...
i want the white bush a little more part of the photo..
(here i have it dead center..(so this is a "i was here photo":D ))
so if i frame the white bush in the far right do you think it would balence out the composition? any other suggestions? (of any kind:D )

nice shot! man the colors are great :)

Maybe if you had shifted the shot left and pushed down/in, bringing the bush to the front right of the frame, it might emphasize both the bush and the front range of mountains. Also this would cutout the blown mountains in the distance.

    Unlucky timing huh? headscratch.gif
Do you have any from a bit earlier when the sun was still hitting those rock faces?

    FANTASTIC PHOTOthumb.gifthumbthumb.gifthumbthumb.gifthumb

shorten your tripod...shoot lower to the ground....dramatically changes perpective.....might also try bracketing a few stops so that you can HDR them and come out with a photo that the sky is fantastic and so is everything else........BTW...I just thought the sky was a very light.white blue...i see those here all the time , does make getting a great pic hard...but hey if it were easy everyone would be a photog.........

lol3.gif No worries! It's back now. Looks great!

FWIW there's no rules against changing your initial photo if you want, but it can be beneficial (to you and others) to leave the original and post the edited one later, to provide a comparison of changes.

    Just a mild suggestion! thumb.gif

If you plan to reshoot in shade, a low angle fill flash on the bush could give it more pop without lighting the ground as much.
