Father, son and a B-52

A friend has wanted a photo with his son, in front of the aircraft he flies, for a long time but has never had the right opportunity. We finally made it happen on a surprisingly cold Louisiana morning. I shot this one while they were going to check out the aircraft.

    I like it, the only bad thing is that the background of where they are holding hands i distracting, I'd like to see just a flat metal surface but not parts of wheels etc.
    But the way that they are looking is really well captured.

    You have captured a fine moment of emotion between father and son! I like the B&W also. Looking at this image in PS, it looks better than it does here. I tried applying some shadow/highlight and some USM to open up more detail in the shadows and think it helps the shot . Nice work.
