A walk around a Texas town

This weekend I decided to take a walk in a nearby town, just north of Dallas. The town is Grapevine, TX. C&C welcome.

This shot is from Lewisville, TX, just east of Grapevine. I found the wood spokes interesting next to the tree.

    I went to school in Grapevine :D once upon a (too long) time ago ... looks like you took fantastic advantage of our beautiful weather this past weekend!

    Of your pictures, #2 stands out as particularly striking. I really like the B&W conversion and the lines of your composition.

    Thanks Stirfry. I did the B&W conversion at the last minute. The original was nice, but I too liked the B&W.
