this cicada shell just so happened to be in the bush i was in while taking shots of my mates sandboarding so i decided to pose him up and get a shot!

I've only been really getting into shooting for a couple of months and i;m loving it!!!

    Those Cicada shells look so prehistoric, the first time I ever found one,
    which was only a couple of years ago, I was beside meself with joy I tell ya.

    Interesting view on this shot, little hard to see the Cicada front on.
    Now that your not lurking any more, we hope you will continue to post.

    Thanks for the comment...i did have another coupe of shots of its full body but decided on this one because i love the way it looks like it is clawing its way toward the camera
