Party Shots (Part Deuce). (Input appreciated)

The following two photos is an attempt to get one presentable photo from a photo shot at higher than normal ISO, with a subject who parties way too much, and it shows. Photo #1 is the original.

    The remake is not working for me at all. The subject looks like a mannequin. The skin looks very artificial.

    She's lovely, and it's a very nice party portrait. The first image just needs some pop. There's no black point in the image, for one thing. Check out the tutorial linked in my signature, if you want to read more about that. thumb.gif

    Two is way overdone for my taste. #1 is much better IMO.

    just pop it or (apparently popular nowadays) use some soft focus technique (see people forum) if you fancy that.

    The photo is nice, no need to fiddle with it (too much)
