grey headed flying fox

this is a grey headed flying fox,shot from a roof as it flew towards me-its a crop.

they are australias largest bat
Latitude: 37° 52'South
Longitude: 145° 08'East

Canon 20d,EFS-60mm Macro,Canon 85mm/1.8. Pentax Spotmatic SP,Pentax Super Takumars 50/1.4 &135/3.5,Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumars 200/4 ,300/4,400/5.6,Sigma 600/8.

    i am extremely petrifed of bats. i know its very difficult to capture a bat at night but i think you are crazy for even trying....

    you are 1,000 times more braver than I am...

    thanks- bravery has nothing to do with it-they avoid us-getting the shot is hard though and I want to be able to get a clear wide angle close shot so that I can get more detail-its not easy as they are moving quite quickly and focussing is a real issue
