I am interested in trying Blurb for a new photobook. Is there a thread on how to link your customers to this? Is it linked from our website (like in the cart)? Thanks!

Make your book on blurb, then you can sell via your website - but not through our cart, I'm so sorry. It's something we want, but don't yet have.

You can collect payment by credit card easily through Google Checkout or Paypal.

First off, I am by NO means an expert. I simply made a gallery for my photobook, forced the view style to journal, got the code for a badge from my blurb page and placed it in the description. I also linked the page in my navbar. The page is here http://www.wowmephotos.com/gallery/3886081

and that works, even better, so you can do the transaction via the blurb cart

When I checked out someone's link to the Blurb photobooks, I noticed that the button for prices (costs) is right above the albums. I don't like this at all.... :nah

Having a gallery of photos of my book with a link to the Blurb site where it can be purchased has worked very well for me.

I've never quite understood this. You're professionals, selling professional work.

that book is 34.95 or 24.95 on Blurb.

If you want to sell such a book without any other info around it, then it's really no problem, just list it in a gallery on SmugMug, like the previous poster did. Charge what you wish - and collect the fees via google checkout or paypal, and fulfill the order.

Pretty easy, no?

Sorry to keep the thread running… but I have to highly recommend Bay Photo for Photo Books. They are AMAZING. I have never seen better construction, paper, and ink quality.

Do they cost more? Yes. Is it worth it? I think so.
